Enjoyed my stay. The bunk beds were a little high and initially the bed itself didn't seem the most clean but I got clean sheets. did need to pay extra for a blanket and towel. Staff friendly and felt at home. Bonus: Breakfast (continental) and internet is free. Also, Super bonus: they let me keep my luggage in a locker after I checked out and could come back in since my flight was later in the day. Overall had a lovely time!

This was a pretty bad hostel. we stayed in the larger rooms and they are nothing like the pictures on the website. I literally had to climb a ladder to get to my bed, which was separated from the other beds by a piece of plywood. We ended up cancelling our reservations and moving to another hostel(Hostal Fernando), a five minute walk away. This was much better and for the same price

i booked my stay through hostels.com and the directions to the hostel were completely inaccurate. i was stuck wandering around in barcelona at night for almost 2 hours. when i reported it to the staff, they apologized and i appreciate it, but at least could have given me a discount for my trouble.

I only stayed here for a night, but this hostel seemed pretty cool. The style of the bedrooms was really unique and I actually liked it, especially since I was treavelling alone. the staff was nice and helpful. i hated having to pay 3 euro for a blanket though. this is not a cozy little hostel, more like a giant indoor campsite is the best way i can describe it. it did have the best breakfast i have ever seen in a hostel though! it made every annoying detail worth it!

The Gothic Point hostel is located on a very busy street near some clubs. If you are intersted in partying until the wee hours, then it is a great place for you. If you are looking for a quiet night's rest, then stay at another hostel. If the insane noise from the streets outside doesn't wake you up, then the noise from one of your 11 roommates in the 12 bed dorm rooms coming and going at all hours will.

Excellent location! right in the middle of everything, only 10 minute walk to the beach, 30 second walk to Barri Gotic, 5 minutes to Barcelona Cathedral, and less than 10 minutes to Placa Catalunya and Las Ramblas. Breakie is also quite good, for a hostel... Very safe location and amenities for single female travellers!

umm.. could have been given bedsheets that was a bit awkward...... the ladders to the beds were a bit high ha ha. but was balanced out by the fact there was a pretty boy on reception. we all really enjoyed our stay, the staff were helpful and friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed.xxxxx
