Governor Robinsons in Perth, Australia

This hostel is absolutely full with bed bugs; All the people in my room had the body covered by bed bugs bites and when I went to ask for my money back for all the night that I had paid, becasue I didn t want to stay any longer in that place, they did not refound anything, and were EXTREMELY RUDE to me, also told me that as a traveller I should expect to have bed bugs like a normal thing. My boyfriend and I stayed at Governor Robinsons back in 2005 (for 3 weeks) and it was just as I remembered it: Lovely staff, nice atmosphere, clean rooms and bathrooms and you tend to meet the loveliest people there from all over the world. It surely was lovely to meet the manager Philip again. He can really be proud of his place! I will definitely stay there next time I'm in Perth. Without a doubt! Very nice, pretty and clean Backpackers. It's a friendly but rather quiet place so if you are a party animal it's not a place for you. Only one fride in the kitchen so it gets easily unmanageable. Besides that, people tend to extend their stay and hold on to the place. Good sign, isn't it ? Sophie, from France ~ 5th Feb 2009
