This is a perfectly good hostel. The problem is that Portugal is filled with more GREAT hostels than I've seen most anywhere in the world. A few tweaks would do this place good. The staff should spend less time on their computers and more time checking for things like if the bathrooms are out of toilet paper, if door handles are pulled off or if the toilet has been running for two days straight. They could try a LOT more on the breakfast front - a bag of rolls thrown on the table with three Tom, from USA ~ 12th Nov 2009

The staff was VERY helpful in helping me figure out what I should see whule in Coimbra, and the best way to go about seeing everything. The bedrooms and bathroom were very clean, but the living area and kitchen area were not as clean. My dorm room was also VERY cold at night, both myself and my roomate had to use our coats or sleeping bags to try and stay warm as we slept.
