Certainly worth one nights stay to get a unique Tokyo experience. Great if you get into it. Wear the robes, make the most of the spa and massages. Just remember you will have to check out everyday. Read Owner Comments David, from Australia ~ 10th Jan 2010

This is not a hostel. Very clean and the capsule is actually quite comfortable. They have some rules that are a bit annoying. The spa area is a bit bizarre. I recommend it for 1 night, maybe 2, deffinitely not more than that. Read Owner Comments Patricio, from Argentina ~ 22nd Dec 2009

Not for the faint hearted but definately an experience worth trying at least once. This male only capsule hotel is slightly more pricy than your average capsule hotel but has excellent bathing facilities, entertainment and dining all spread across 3 levels. Well, this was what they call a once in a lifetime experience. It's pretty doable and affordable though. It can be a bit noisy and overwhelming for some people to sleep in a pod and to follow the 'rules' of the place. You have to wear their 'pyjamas' and bathe naked with the other guests. Though that last is not oblidged :) Location is pretty good. Staff speak limited english but enough to get around. Have to check out every day, because it's actually meant for Japanese businessmen. this was the first place i stayed in upon arrival in tokyo and at first i was a bit apprehensive because i thought they wouldn't have space for my luggage, but they did and spoke english rather well as well. It's definitely for the adventurous if you choose to use all of the spa facilities and sleep in a capsule. i had a great time there, but two days is the max to stay there Read Owner Comments Bart, from Netherlands ~ 15th Sep 2009

Capsule hotels are a particular experience. Small wardrobe and the Check-in check-out every day (but you can left the big bags in the cloakroom). Good and cheap the Hotel restaurant open 24 hours! The location is excellent. Read Owner Comments Giacomo, from Italy ~ 28th Sep 2009

Nice place, just be aware of Japanese cultural differrences. The only thing is that you must be aware of what time is it and if it is am or pm because the place has no windows, be aware of not checking out at night instead of morning! It happened to me :( Read Owner Comments Agustin, from Mexico ~ 17th Aug 2009

I needed a place to stay for one night in Tokyo. I had already stored my unneeded baggage at Narita, which was good because the luggage storage at the hotel is limited. A word of warning: they seem pretty serious about the no tattoo policy, to the point of posting a sign in front of the desk and putting a disclaimer at the top of your info sheet. I have 3 tattoos, a small one at the base of my back and one on the top of each foot, so needless to say I didn't get a chance to use the showers or sa Dylan, from Canada ~ 10th Aug 2009

Totally not what I was expecting. I thought it would be like any other hostel, but this place is actually a full blown spa! Totally worth the money, and a great treat to have after a long day trekking through the city. Everyone should try this at least once in their life.
