Grund hostel - perfect place to stay in for couple of days visiting Budapest. Location right next to Corvin centre and metro station. Staff very helpful, recommended a really nice restaurant with Hungarian cuisine (Stex). The fact that downstairs there is a bar and beer garden makes it even more interesting and original. Kept nice and tidy. All in all, if I come back to Budapest (I will for sure!) I will also be back to Grund. Kinga, from Poland ~ 23rd May 2012

I had some problems the first night but the staff was really helpful, taking care of the issue right away. I found the staff both helpful and pleasant, taking you as a guest seriously. The place is combined with a bar/live music bar, however this didn't disturb the very isolated rooms. In the other hand this was a plus for the hostel as from wednesdays to saturdays they have a live band. Great party place. It was very clean but the place is lacking a kitchen and free breakfast = free cof Rasmus, from Sweden ~ 24th Apr 2012

Thus the hostel does not make such a good first impression since it is located in a pretty old building, and bathrooms are shared so their cleanliness depends on others, but the rooms are neat, warm and cosy. And considering extremely low price it is definitelly worth to visit. Most of all, the stuff is simply amazing, really nice and helpful. Katarina, from Slovakia ~ 17th Apr 2012
