You can get free wifi on the veranda, from a neighbour. There are 2 PCs with internet too. Overall great place, just lacks a mirror in the bathroom and lockers, but there is no theft in Japan ! I will go again. 15 minutes walk from Kyoto station. David, from France ~ 5th Nov 2009

The Guest House Yahata was nice and comfortable. Good things: Internet was free, staff was kind, very quiet, good location. Downsides: one shower for the whole place and it was only available from 8am-11pm, my friend got bed bug bites. Overall, I'd say this was a good hostel compared to most. Its a very nice place to stay. Cosy, clean and comfortable. There is only one shower, but since not many people staying there, its not a problem. The only disappointing thing was the absence of luggage lockers. Anna, from Ukraine ~ 9th Jul 2009
