If you can cope with a bus every half hour and no bus Sunday mornings the location is OK. Note, it costs about 30$ to go by taxi to BSI the main bus terminal. Otherwise, nice public swimming pool, some food and shopping posibilities in the area

What a fantastic find, was great value for money and the owner was really helpful. Only down side is that the hot tub is quite noisy if you get the room in front of it and are trying to sleep, however, the owner does try and stop people from using it late at night.

I felt quite at home. It was nice to be left to do what I wanted as well, gave me the space I needed. Very Friendly as well, casual.

We've been a week in Iceland and it's one of the best place we've stay with the HI Hostel in Reykjavik. The place is clean, quiet, the staff is kind and helpfull. And they do excellent breakfast! I would recommand it to anybody!

The owners were extremely kind, especially in light of my lack of Icelandic familiarity. They were very helpful. The room was extremely comfortable and clean. I look forward to my return.
