well in gent i cudnt even book a hostel during the trip so gotta stay here, it is a nice church based hotel, the guesthouse room is ok but to be honest a bit pricy for me including breakfast totally 60+..but it is good cos i was soo tired after the 10 days trip so really had a good rest there, so if you ve got a big budget and really prefer some quiet place to rest, here might be a good choice Yang, from China ~ 11th Apr 2012

I felt mislead.I expected a very old building and was not expecting buildings from the 1800.s Elizabeth, from USA ~ 18th Aug 2011

The instructions for people arriving by foot need revision as the direction "straight through" can be misinterpreted and the "second street on the left" missed. Graham, from Australia ~ 4th Aug 2011

This hotel in settled in the old monastery, near touristic city center, but in a rather quite area. The breakfast buffet is plentiful (although 15€ seems a bit expensive), internet connection in rooms is solid, and there is a direct tram to the train station in the near. If you are not scared of some squeaky noises, long hallways and old pictures on the walls, this historical building is a very atmospheric place for stay. Hrvoje, from Croatia ~ 11th Jul 2011

I was lucky because the hostel room was taken and I was upgraded into a huge one, but everything here is beautiful and I would definitely pick it again if I were to return to Ghent. The staff is really nice, the building quaint and beautiful and the location quiet and central. Loved it! Rita, from Portugal ~ 4th Jul 2011
