NIce place. Superbe location (River, center, stations). Very helpfull staff and big and comfy doube rooms. We found it better than Fowers. Apart the hostel thats best in Guillin,some tips: Do the boat trip and rice terraces from Yanshuo is a lot cheaper. Peak, park and caves dont worth the money.

I opted to stay in a 6-bed dorm but found the room smelling musty and the shower grungy,so I took a private ensuite,it was OK.the staff at the desk were very helpful and arrandments for tours were excellent.On request they even arranged for my visit to a local Silk factory.Faz 4rm Chennai

The staff at the hostel refuse to get our train tickets many times, but we did insist and we finally got them, but after all they are not very friendly. cheers

great location, good atmosphere / communal area. stayed here twice & double room was great on 1st visit but the twin we got on the 2nd wasn\'t so nice. staff pretty helpful but beware that the deposit you pay on line is in addition to the normal room rate paid if you walk in off the street (100RMB)

OKish hostel with quite basic rooms. Our room was damp (with slight mould) but AC was working very well and bed was comfyish. Excellent location and nice/helpful staff. OK FOR 1-2 nights.

Good place, very central. Do not book for the foreigner's Li River Cruise (cost 400 RMB), they say you that respect to the chinese one (235 RMB) you have an English guide and better food; in reality the English speaker guide talked just 15 minutes on 4 hours, so he was useless, and food was bad. Naturally that's not fault of the Hostel, it's just a tip.
