- “ Great hostel, staff is friendly and speaks good English. Location is great. If arriving by plane, take the airport bus into the city for 25 RMB, then a cab to the hostel for 7-8 RMB. The hostel also helped me buy a train ticket for a small service fee. Tours organized through the hostel are a good value. ”

- “ This place was great! I would recommend it to anyone. Not only were the facilities great, but they helped us arrange everything we wanted to do while there. We were on a limited time budget, so the fact that we didn't have to spend any time figuring out how to see everything was perfect. Also, my wife left her brand new iPhone in our room when we left. We called them and gave them an address that they could ship it to, and it arrived a couple of days after we did. Could not be happier! ”

- “ If you ever go to Guilin, this is a very nice place to stay. But you should be prepared to have a small distance to the ''downtown'', where the most western restaurents are placed. You need to go for around 15 min. each way :) ”

- “ Guilin Riverside Hostel was a great experience for us! We had a family room, which was basically a suite with a queen bed and a double bed separated by a wall. And an ensuite bathroom. The place was clean and extremely accommodating. Particularly David, the manager, who was always ready and eager to assist. At one point we left for another city for 2 nights,and they kept our luggage and held our room till we came back. They were very helpful in setting up tours and shuttle to/from the airport ”

- “ the staff are very friendly and helpful. When I left Guilin for Yangshuo, I left some of my luggage with them, and when I came back for my luggage, I stayed at their porch for a long while with my family. This hostel is like a home to me. The girls are patient and hospitable. ”

- “ They didnt receive the booking from hostels but they UPGRADE our room wihout charge anything. About the tour to longi terrace was under our expectations maybe because our guide didnt pay attention enough to us. Everyone in the tour had the same feeling so we talk to the manager and he said sorry, and they will improve, and insisted to pay for our breakfast. ”
