The locations was fabulous! The rooms got too stuffy, so it made sleeping hard at times. More fans would be much appreciated. It would also be nice to have a light with each individual bed, so you don't have to worry about feeling bad in case you want to read and others are sleeping. All in all, it was decent for the money and I would do it again.

I did the survey, but would like to add that the staff was very helpful and friendly. I appreciated the spiffy art and colors, and beautiful patio. The only negative was the smoking benches outside the front doors, as we walked in and out. Thank you for a great visit!!

I would recommend this hostel! But beware, Santa Monica is not LA (it´s much nicer)

It was a nice stay in the H.I. Hostel Santa Monica. Big Common area, nice kitchen, clean rooms... In two of the lockers it was broken into and the prices went up at the first of june so I decided to search for another hostel. But its a nice place to meet new people and the location is great!

I had a wonderful week in S. Monica. the hole staff is very cool. A voluntear gide from the hostel took us in a trip to Malibu, it was great (free). Luck from reception gided us to Getty museum, Thanks to kaisy and EVERYBODY there, it is like a big family... deffinitly the best hostel in the U.S. 110%

Best from another hostels in service, cleanliness, sheets already in bed, towels, awesome place, i will come back no doubt about it. Inmejorable, situacion increible, limpio, toallas, sabanas y todo perfecto y las camas hechas!!! ;)

the whole week we spent in the hostel was great! friendly staff, nice rooms, a lot of cool people! if we come back to L.A., we definetly come back to santa monica hostel.
