The showers could do with having the temperature a bit cooler or having a hot and cold tap. Its right on the beach so after a day there in the sun you dont want a boiling hot shower. The swipe cards need to be replaced, they would stop working quite often and I must have changed mine about 15 times at least in the 6 days I was there.

The location was excellent. Close to public transportation, the beach and shopping. Everyone was pretty nice. The hostel was clean and comfortable. It was like staying in a really nice dormatory.

Luved the place. It's hip, the location is fantastic, it's clean, some people were complainig about the bed bugs, my ultimate question for those would be, can you real tell how a bed bug looks like? not every bug you see on your bed is necessary a bed bug. Place is really good if you travel alone cause you can meet a lot of people. Breakfast was delicious.
it was a bit noisy during the night because you could hear the trafic but besides form that it was good
Very good location in Santa Monica, much better than downtown L.A. nice staff, breakfast was good for the price and much more offers than most other hostels.
Has a decent amount of facilities that you wouldn't find in other hostels and the location is perfect
