lovely old building, with a lot of potential. however, no alcohol allowed, all building locked up at 11 and 5 out of the 6 staff i met were not very friendly. Megan, from Australia ~ 23rd Jul 2009

Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. I had questions about markets and restaurants and was give great directions and advice. Perfect service for a hostel Monty, from USA ~ 21st Jan 2009

I was not too thrilled with this hostel. I felt out of the loop socially (mostly an older crowd) and I wasn't allowed to check in to my room until 2 p.m. though the next day people were checking in around 10 a.m. While I felt safe there, I didn't feel very welcome. Alyssa, from USA ~ 24th Dec 2008

Andy was outstanding! When I told him I did not know I was supposed to bring a lock for the lockers he made arrangements for me to secure my bags. I gave the staff a high rating because of him. The other staff members were surly and argumentative. However I loved the experience as a whole. The other guys in the room with me were very interesting, quiet, and considerate.
