Hostel Buffalo Niagara in South Lake Tahoe, USA

The close proximity to the police station and dance club is why Location was not a 5. The train is not a problem. The City Market (3 blocks south) is a joke. Never was concerned for my safety while walking around the multi-block area. chad m, from USA ~ 28th Oct 2011

The front desk staff were very hospitable and the place was fairly clean.Even though I checked in after hours, they provided me w/ clear instructions for self check-in.One downside is my room faces the light rail stop w/c tends to be noisy when the train runs even late at night. It's a cosy place to stay, well located especially travelling with greyhound! However dont expect to play the guitars there arent any, and dont expect to play pool a lot, table is a basic piece of wood. Staff very friendly and available to help, however only open from 8-10.30am and 5-10pmso be careful if like me you get there at night, nobody will open for you! Tim, from USA ~ 2nd Oct 2011

Very clean, very spacious, very friendly, very flexible, very homy, very cool people from all over the world. Overall, the quality of their service and attention to details would have matched or exceeded my expectation if I were at Four Seasons or Peninsular.
