HI Lake Louise in Banff, Canada

I went to the restaurant. but they're not kindly or friendly. Cause I saw some good review about that restaurant. but it was wrong for me! I just waiting for 10min over infront of door!! but, one of waiter already saw me, anyway he's ignore me!! I couldn't sleep well, cause of the noisy. stair noisy is really aloud in the bed room. I would appreciate having more programing for us individual travellers who dont come with family and or friends. Little Kids with dad kind of took away from the "fun I could have as a student and single traveller". The hostel staff were incredibly accomadating for the services and switching of rooms so that I could stay there the full time I had planned. That was very well executed and friendly. I would have the TV room maybe upstairs someplace. Perhaps using the somewhat "unused Doug, from Canada ~ 8th Aug 2009

This place is great for the older generations. It seemed the average age was around 45 years old. For all the younger people, it's better to stay in Banff for a little more fun. Joele, from Australia ~ 11th Aug 2009

This hostel is very clean and the beds are great. It's close to the bus station, and about 5km from the Lake. The restaurant in the hostel is good and reasonable priced. If you plan on using the guest kitchen, buy groceries before arriving to Lake Louise because the market is far overpriced. Julie, from Canada ~ 10th Apr 2009

I am from Alberta and I've never stayed in a hostel in my ouwn country before this past weekend. I was in a 5-bed mixed dorm and got the neatest bed ever- at the top of a ladder, in a loft! And the view out into the mountains was beautiful. Kudos on the room set-up. As for the food, I was so impressed with my dinner of a stuffed portabello that I actually wrote about it in my journal and plan on making the same dish for friends in the near future.
