HI-Niagara Falls Rainbow Hostel in Niagara Falls, Canada

Location of this hostel was quite good, there was a shuttle bus during the day time which you can get a pass for, hop on and off when you like. Taxi is ten dollars back at night. Staff were ok, apart from being woken up at 1:30 by a staff member shouting about the state of a bathroom which he claimed he had just cleaned that afternoon when infact the bin hadn't been emptied in three days and the same dirty foot towel which was on the floor for those 3 days, hung up for people to use, NICE! Staff friendly. Long walk, but nice, to the falls. Next to bus and railway stations. Cool budist temple just nexxt door. Avoid room next to the stairs (people stamping). El hostel, esta muy bien. muy buen servicio i con actividades i materiales suficientes para estar bien. It's a beautiful walk from the hostel to the Falls if you have the energy. Walking back late at night after a day of walking at the Falls is kinda tiring, but you get over it. Also, shared bathroom means it's like a dorm setting where the entire floor shares a bathroom. A little tough to find a shower in the morning with everyone else. EvaCecilia, from USA ~ 25th May 2009

We heard people complaining about the location in other reviews, but we found the 25 minute walk to the falls very pleasant, but the weather was nice! Also the bathrooms could have been a little cleaner, the floors needed cleaning better.
