HI - Portland - Northwest in Portland, United States

I was really surprised with this hostel. At first I did not really like much. I shared a 8 bed room and I think that was too many people in the room but we had our private bathroom which was good but for me who likes to enjoy the night life of the cities I visit as well sometimes is not too good because when I am getting ready people are already sleeping. But I had very nice guys sharing the room with me. I forgot my PSP there and when I called they had found it and they sent it back to my home Audrey Daniel, from Brazil ~ 24th Oct 2009

A quiet, well-located hostel with friendly staff and standard features. This is a great place to stay to meet people in a more low-key atmosphere (vs. partying all night), then go exploring in the nearby bars and restaurants of the "Pearl District". Took a free gallery tour of the area which was very interesting. Only minor issue would be that some of the facilities are in need of repair due to age (e.g. older beds, some painting needed), but overall this was an excellent stay for me.
