  • The hostel is very good for travelers on a budget. Location is excellent. Location in Chinatown and near downtown Seattle. The location is also next to the train station and bolt bus pick up area. The hostel provides free wifi, free towel, and free breakfast. Overall, excellent hostel! Higher recommended!!

  • Great location--near many buses, train and King Street Station. Many interesting street people around, always asking for money, and sometimes aggressively. Although I never felt that my safety was threatened, I remain aware of what's happening around me. The area seems like it's on life support. Chinatown seems so....old, so lifeless. Very uncharacteristic. Neighborhood in flux.

  • You ask guests to save Walter by taking shorter showers, why not install low flow shower heads, and some plugs in the sinks.

  • I had some doubts coming to this hostel, based off of reviews i had read about the sketchy neihhboorhood in which the hostel is placed. However after staying there for an extended weekend, i can say that this just isnt true. Yes the area has a homeless population but not moreso than any other big city, so its really not an issue. Besides the location is great regarding transportation to and from seattle. All in all this is exactly what is to be expected from a hostel. Maybe slightly overpriced.

  • This was my first time staying at a hostel and I enjoyed it :) The rooms were clean and warm and the staff were always there if you had a question. Even with so many people staying, it was pretty quiet, so I always had a good night's sleep.

  • This hostel is close to many homeless shelters/soup kitchens/etc. You WILL have to deal with begging/homeless/sketchiness. The area is also pretty dirty and bars/restaurants look divey in a bad way. Not a "good" part of town for sure. But I never felt in acute danger, and it actually gets better after dark. Hostel itself is fine. Generally clean, OK breakfast, staff is helpful. Other guests did their own thing mostly, I also saw many kids. You have to pay to store luggage after checkout.

  • Really cool hostel - has everything you need and the location is great for Asian restaurants. Having a grocery store right there was awesome. The neighborhood is a little sketchy but not bad and it's very easy to walk into town to do anything you want.

  • Lovely staff and very informative regarding what's happening in the area. The rooms and kitchen were way too hot though! However, very clean, they even wash the blankets (not only the sheets, like most hotels and hostels)!
