This hostel is really in Dowtown Toronto, very near from the harbour and from the commercial area, too. Service is very good, it\'s clean and you can leave your stuff secure. JIMENA, from Mexico ~ 17th Sep 2009

I didn't like that the advertised prices were for members. I didn\'t find out about this until we were there. Check in is not til 4 which is very late. The board for the week's events was not changed until the first day of the week which didn't help the night before to plan for the day. All bad comments but all in all we had a good stay. The activities were not very well organized and announced. We had to find our own activities. Deland, from USA ~ 27th Jul 2009

Locks on all the dorms and on the entrance which was good, loads of lockers to store your luggage in. Location spot on for central Toronto about 10 minutes walk! Felt really safe in the neighbourhood to walk around at night. But breakfast was not included and a charge for computers made the cost of H.I quite expensive. Lewis, from England ~ 21st Jul 2009

Friendly helpful staff, clean room, fun day time and night time activities, easy to meet people in the common room. Brian walked us down to an Irish pub with live music 25 minutes after we arrived which was just what we were looking for. People at the check in 24 hours and able to give good eating and night life suggestions. Only gripe, the walk to the CN tower and Queen St. W is short but I think some of the other hostels are just a bit closer. Gabriel, from USA ~ 13th Jul 2009

Cool place with lounge area, movie room (places 2x a day), and basement/cavern dining area w/ full kitchen. Free tours and night outings are fairly good. Rooftop area was dead, but heard its cool when they serve bbq later in the summer. Wish there was a bar, but able to meet people fairly easily. Surprised to see older people there also. Free wifi, great staff. BRIAN, from USA ~ 9th Jun 2009

we realy liked our stay at this HI hostel. but the only thing which sucked was that we didn't get the 6 bed room I booked a few weeks ago. please make sure that you do not overbook the rooms-that's crap.. Laura, from Germany ~ 1st Apr 2009

I hate this hostel, pillow smells, they have an additional fee and people are loud. Also there are not enough spaces for those who wanna have party so they have in their room, thats the problem.even they screamed in the hall way, staffs never do anything. I couldnt sleep well the very day before flight. sucks! Ayu, from Japan ~ 23rd Mar 2009
