Great breakfast!

If theft and break-ins are such a problem, why not install security cameras to deter criminals? We had someone saw through a metal Thule roof rack. It must have taken some time to do and a camera would have helped to catch the person. The inside of the hostel was great, good bkfast too.

this was a great place to stay. i was in a 4-bed female dorm. there\'s lockers in the room. they organise events with the other HI hostels. the free breakfast is fantastic! kitchen is great. most staff are nice and helpful. despite alot of the showers being out of order while i was there, they were reasonably clean.

We booked a double ensuite room wich was tiny and we ended up using the comunal showers as the one in the room was rubbish. We were charged twice but the Hostel could be bothered to investigate so we had to get the credit card company to interveen to get our money back.

The kitchen seemed to be a little bit hectic, with so many people cooking. I think we could be allowed to cook only kind of quick and fast food: salad, noodles, and not shrimps or chinese dishes, as we couldn\'t have so much room to get our dishes ready. On the other hand, as it was my first time in a hostel, I enjoyed the stay very much, that\'s why I have booked again for next Friday - on my way back from Banff and Seattle. Mirna

rooms were small and cramped, there was no air conditioning so it was very hard to sleep. spent CAD30 per night and would have expected more for my money. that said, the staff were friendly and the location was great for eating out and drinking

A great hostel. Dorms are a little small but you can make do. The location is excellent, really close to everything you need - buses to/from the airport and downtown, supermarkets, bars and clubs and the 'beach'. The breakfast is great too. Love the bagels!

A good hostel right in the heart of Vancouver. Rooms are a bit small, and some things - like the bicycle rental - are outrageously expensive.

The location is no where near the centre of town or Stanley park, seems to be in the middle of nothing. The hostel has very little character and very little to do here and its seems the staff aren't enthusiastic about organising anything. Just stay in the Vancouver Central atleast your closer to the centre of town and it has its own bar.

The convenient location and friendly environment were just what I wanted for this stay at your hostel. You have a good thing going. I will be back.
