Hi-Victoria is an interesting building, located in a great area of town. Staff were very helpful. I feel lucky to have found it on short notice. Internet booking was reliable, and true to descriptions.

Too bad about the rowdy, noisy night club across the street. It makes getting a good night's sleep a little difficult.

It is situated in the best place in the Victoria and it is n ot ehpensive. Big kitchen with a lot of sings and frigs. Also they recicle!!! That;s good for the world.

Staff super helpful, great to be able to borrow a hairdryer. Privacy even within a large dorm. Nowhere to put clothes, bag etc while having a shower except on the chair outside, so had to lock bag, passport etc in locker while having a shower, bit inconvenient.

Went to Canada after graduating from college and decided to stay at Hi Victoria while in Victoria for a few days.
My girlfriend and myself had a wonderful time staying at this place. We stayed in a 8 person, four bunk room. There was a couple there the entire time we were there, a couple from Portland our first night (we're form Salem, Oregon), and our last night there was a new couple. Each night there was a spare bunk which made it nice so it wasn't too crowded.
