HI-Maligne Canyon in Sofia, Canada

This hostel is actually not as comfortless as you might think from reading the homepage. With the exception of running water the kitchen has everything you need. Blankets and pillows are provided and the heating in the cabins is very powerul, so no sleeping bags are necessary until (very) late fall. A real asset to this hostel is also its very helpful manager, who has lived there for 27 years. He knows everything about the environment, the animals and what hiking tours to recommend.
