- “ This hostel is actually not as comfortless as you might think from reading the homepage. With the exception of running water the kitchen has everything you need. Blankets and pillows are provided and the heating in the cabins is very powerul, so no sleeping bags are necessary until (very) late fall. A real asset to this hostel is also its very helpful manager, who has lived there for 27 years. He knows everything about the environment, the animals and what hiking tours to recommend. ”

- “ the owner was sincere. he told us honestly about how dangerous and how inconvenient of the hostel. he wasn't even mind that we would find another hostel instead. ”

- “ This is a repeat (5) visit as my confidence in the Hostel is high. Extremely well looked after and cared for by an outstanding veteran Hostel Manager. The accommodations were what we expected (clean and well kept). This was a staging area for our group of 11 that did not disappoint. I would encourage the HI organization to spend some time considering expanding the cook house. Cold nights tend to keep one inside during the winter and frankly the cook facility is better described as more than tight especiall ”
