The toilets, though I think designed to conserve water, would splash water on the floor in front of the toilets after every flush. As a result, all of the toilets had these gross little puddles of water in front of them. I also found the staff to be aloof. Quiet hours and lights out were not enforced. Great place to stay. Perfect location, just a few blocks from Aquarium and Cannery Row, was able to walk almost everywhere including downtown Monterey and Pacific Grove. Staff is very nice, gave us guest passes to the Aquarium so that we didn't have to pay admission and gave suggestions of other places to visit in the area. Wonderful experience!!!! Very clean, and SUPER friendly staff. I was here over the Memorial Day weekend, so it was quite full, and a bit noisy my first night (Saturday). Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Michelle, from USA ~ 31st May 2011
