Amazing large hostel with the option of private and dorm beds. My private room was very clean with private bathroom behind 3 locked doors. Has lots of facilities on the main floor, including tv, hot drink machine, vending machines and wifi. Downstairs there is a bar and large kitchen. It's right in the middle of Old Quebec City and perfect to venture out to take in the sights on foot. Highly recommend! Ricardo, from Australia ~ 5th Jan 2012

The hostel has an excellent location, very close to the old town, and staff is very friendly. Also, the breakfast offered is really good! However, the hostel is huge and quite unpersonal. Good hostel, but it's huge, and they could definitely benefit from making some of the common areas more sociable - as it is now, it's a bit lacking in the sofa-hang-out-area-department. I was upset about hostelling international membership card. The reception guy explained me about that card. You can use wherever! However, i couldn't use anywhere!! Only i can use HI HOSTELS. He didn't mention about that. I was so annoyed about that. As a student, i don't have enough money. I really want to cancel that membership card!
