HI-Quebec- Auberge Internationale de Québec in La Paz, Canada

This is a great hostel to stay in while you're spending your vacation time in Quebec City. It's clean, secure, and the location is perfect. You can walk everywhere around the old Quebec City. I like the lockers in the room where you can store your luggage and other valuables, but don't forget to bring your own lock. The bed is a bit uncomfortable, but when you're tired after you walk around everywhere, you would fall asleep easily. All in all, it's a great hostel. Amazing large hostel with the option of private and dorm beds. My private room was very clean with private bathroom behind 3 locked doors. Has lots of facilities on the main floor, including tv, hot drink machine, vending machines and wifi. Downstairs there is a bar and large kitchen. The hostel has an excellent location, very close to the old town, and staff is very friendly. Also, the breakfast offered is really good! However, the hostel is huge and quite unpersonal. Good hostel, but it's huge, and they could definitely benefit from making some of the common areas more sociable - as it is now, it's a bit lacking in the sofa-hang-out-area-department.
