  • The bunk beds are very unstable and every time I moved the person below me would feel the whole bed moving. This resulted in very little sleep for myself and my bunkmate. I had paid for a private room the following nights but no one came to clean the room and the garbage bin piled up. For the price I had paid ($80 per night) it seems reasonable to get housekeeping for private rooms. Walls were thin and my neighbors were talking till 6 am...

  • The beds weren't that great. The hostel was a little low on entertainment but I think it was because its low season and cold in Quebec right now

  • Loved the stay in this hostel! Might very interesting set of people. The organized walking tour is something that shouldn't be missed - we covered majority of the spots in QC. Had a great time here!

  • Here is really nice location! in traveling Quebec city, I took a rest in hostel when I was tired. There is comfortable and peaceful space, too but sometimes I feel cold.

  • Location is the best for this hostel. It is in the old downtown, and is very close to the supermarket and other tourist sites. The hostel is well managed. However their bunk beds are not as good as other Canadian hostels where I have stayed, but it does not bother me much. They offer tours to montmonrency waterfalls with a bike for $20 per person, and $7 tour to Levis by ferry. To joint their tours, strong physical power is required.

  • Fantastic location. The bar downstairs has cheap drinks. A diverse crowd--backpackers, families, older people, school groups. No AC, but the rooms weren't terribly hot in the summer. The breakfast wasn't included with the room that I booked, which was a surprise. The storage area for suitcases during the day was not very secure--just a separate room with cords to lock your back with your own lock. Not ideal.
