- “ I was really surprised how well organized the hostel's staff were. They all had suggestions for places to go. I also liked how safe I felt and I also felt that I could ask the people at the desk for help if something went wrong while I was in a foreign country. ”

- “ Liked the free breakfast, Maybe think of investing in little lights above each bunk, just makes it easier. Only have the one big light in dorms. ”

- “ Roomates were great, bed was not! If you haven't experienced bedbugs, here's the place! Could not sleep all night due to those little critters. Great location but had to move out the third day due to lack sleep. You have been warned. ”

- “ The hostel is in a great part of downtown. It was clean and secure, and plenty of bathrooms for everyone. I was especially grateful to the wonderful staff. The man that cleaned our room to the interactions we had with the front desk clerks were great. And the beds were incredibly comfortable and the blankets very warm. I really enjoyed my stay! ”

- “ Wonderful place! I didn't realize that I needed to supply my own lock, however. I didn't bother to ask the front desk to see if I could rent one, but maybe put one of those helpful signs on the lockers themselves to advertise, if it is offered? :) Thanks for the wonderful experience~! ”

- “ Great place to stay - easy access to central Vancouver. Staff friendly + helpful. Having breakfast included was great + enough choice of food, especially for travellers on a budget, who don't have to factor that in. My daughter stayed with me + she was happy with facilities also + would stay there again. It is also helpful having the private rooms. ”

- “ First time at a hostel. Overall good experience. Staff needs to use Febreeze in TV room/lounge areas; smelly feet ordor in room and on sofa's. So bad it was impossible to be in those areas.Stinky!!! Facility lighting is very poor, needs more brightness. Dark & dim, makes hostel seem dreary, even scary at first glance. Lacks ambiance espeically in lobby. Need to provide power strips; rooms don't have sufficient power outlets. Elevators didn't always work, was a problem because I'm handicap. ”

- “ Hostel very conveniently located on the main entertainment district with a ton of bars and restaurants lining the street. Activities offered twice daily (typically a morning tour and nightly pub/club crawl/sporting event). The morning tours on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the summer months up until November are excellent and well worth it (Any tour run by Eric). Hostel has 4 restrooms per floor. Laundry facilities and lounge with extensive movie selection. Rooms come with a large locker. ”

- “ Great location, but the area is a little sketchy/seedy, but not a dangerous feel. Staff was great, excellent selection of activities (walking tours, yoga, roof top parties) Good place to explore the city from 10 minutes from everything. ”

- “ The hostel is direct in an active night life, but in the room I had to the back it was quite enough to sleep. Not every room has an air conditioning. The bathrooms are very functional and clean, and there are enough. The kitchen is no real kitchen, it is not possible to cook. There are only two microwaves. The kitchen area is quite small, so that there is not enough room to sit for everyone while breakfast. But the free breakfast from 8-10 a.m. is good and comprehensive. ”

- “ Great staff, location, cleanliness, problem is lack of cooking facilities. In my one night I heard 3 complaints about kitchen so I told them about the Downtown location. ”
