It's taken me forever to finally comment on this, but I can't recommend this hostel more! It's a great, friendly environment and crazily enough, I met my current boyfriend here back in August 2009. the woman at the desk was very helpful, she spoke a fair amount of english. the kitchen area is smallish. they had a nice paper with places of interest and words to help you get along in chinese, it came in very useful along the way. i had lost my lonely planet one. debbie, from USA ~ 29th Jul 2009
