It is a little cramped by Western standards and has old furnishings including rather hard mattresses. Host is very welcoming and speaks quite acceptable English, accepts payment in VISA and gives good local restaurant recommendations (and a free map). I really enjoyed my stay at Hakka's. 24h reception, clean rooms, air con and a free internet-computer to use. And the location was good; close to most things and right next to a subway station to reach the rest of Hong Kong! Esben, from Denmark ~ 5th Oct 2009

Great location literally right next to Jordan MTR station. Small guesthouse (only 9 rooms), but that's a positive in my book. Rooms are tidy, air-conditioned, and the owner is very helpful. Fast and free WiFi. No kitchen or common area, which is typical for HK guesthouses. Much nicer and less crowded building than the Chungking or Mirador mansions further south.
