At first glance this place looks a bit run-down & grungy,but it's actually quite a pleasant place.Expensive I-net though.

Lonely Planet says that "you'll either love it here or it will freak you out". I believe both are true. The hostel is family-run and they are nice and helpful, so you will "love it here". However, the place might "freak you out" by its overall dirtyness: the rooms are dusty, the walls are thin, the shared bathroom (and korean shower) is not very clean and there never seems to be any rubbish bins or toilet paper left. Overall, I had a pleasant stay, but dont expect much comfort.

Location very good and staff helpful! A bit grubby and make sure you arrive before 11pm as they look up then.

There are three awesome thing about this hostel. First, the proprietor is quite helpful. Second, it is very close to the bus station from which you will start most of your day trips. Third, it is cheap. It is not particularly clean, and while you certainly can meet people, the common room is big enough to comfortably fit about four. A good choice if you plan to spend most of your time out and about.

It's better to reserve by e-mail/phone(20,000won or 25,000won or 30,000won per night for 2 persons), rather than use this booking system. Because it is more expensive!! At least 33,000won per night for 2 persons. We've already paid 10% deposit(3,300won) by credit card in advance, but when we arrived, we have to pay 30,000won (it should be 29,700won), so unbelievable!! There's no Internet Access, no trash can in Room 103, no breakfast included (the website was just updated two days ago?!)

After paying my deposit on the internet it wasn't subtracted from my total bill. Other than that it had great atmosphere and was good fun!
