This was a good hostel in a very good location. My dorm room had damp patches on the wall but was otherwise clean. No kitchen facilities as suc, but a fridge, microwave and hot plate. The restaurant was very good, esp. the buffet breakfast, good to get some salad and fruit. I had egg fried rice one night which was again very good. Friendly, helpful staff.

My single room was great; it had its own bathroom, television, and airconditioner. Only a shame that it wasn't cleaned until after three nights, after I had asked the staff to. The common room was very nice; with movies and a guitar.

The 4 people rooms are average. The air conditioner is on the top of the bottom bed, which makes the people sleeping in the top level bed very hot. Also the door of the shared bathroom is so hard to open from inside. I had to scream loud to ask for help. Eventually I got rescued from a Chinese boy passing by. Before he kicked out the door he asked: did you wear your clothes?

My second stay at Hangzhou International Youth Hostel and love the uniqueness of the place and a great courtyard to hangout. Great location!
the hostel is located directly at west lake. you can rent bikes and have a tour around the lake or just start walking! The have a nice courtyard were you can hang out with other guests

Wow, we could not ask for more in a hostel. This place was fantastic! A great location, a great and absolutely charming room, and a very informative and helpful staff. What a find!
