We really enjoyed our stay at Hanoi Guesthouse. We were welcomed by very friendly staff, especially Lin, who also helped us with our future tour plans. When we gou back to Vietnam, there is no place else in Hanoi we would stay in!

We stayed here for a couple of nights to begin with and are now using it as a base to explore the rest of northern Vietnam, which is very easy as they will arrange all your hotel bookings and trains etc for you. The staff are extremely efficient and friendly and really do look out for your welfare. Does everything it says on the hostelworld page!

We loved Hanoi Guesthouse. We arrived to a warm greeting early in the morning after a nightbus, and were immediately given the key to our room after being offered a delicious breakfast. Ling did an incredible job helping us with our tours, flight and taxi. She and the rest of the staff go above and beyond to make your stay a comfortable one. The rooms are immaculate and we would recommend this hostel to anyone. It\'s very popular so make sure you book ahead! Thank you soo much

Do not bring any sweet food into the room or it will be prayed on by some insects, which was what happened to my tibits. There are drinks in the fridge which was convenient. Not exactly a fantastic place to stay in. However the staff there are really nice, especially Ling, who occasionally buy some stuff to treat those staying in the guesthouse...

Very nice stay in this hotel. People are very kind. Some problem with mouse ... Caused by the last floor. But it should be fix now. :)

When we arrived at the hotel we were shuttled, in the rain, to another hotel by the same owner. It seems that most guests do not end up staying at the Guesthouse itself. Our stay at the Kangroo Hotel was enjoyable, the staff is extremely helpful and the free breakfast is great, though the rooms are somewhat moldy and dingy (they do come with fans and A/C and have good water pressure). Good value for the location, and I would likely stay there again if I ever returned to Hanoi.
Really good clean place. Near to the centre of town. Free breakfast is a bonus. Ling, the lady that works there is great. She will help you with anything you need.

You can\'t beat Moon\'s hospitality, she goes out of her way to make sure that her guests are well looked after, rooms, trips, transport, nothing is too much trouble, what a lovely lady
Very comfortable, great and helpful staff and nice central locaiton in the heart of the Old Quarter. Had a great few days there and they really did their best to help with everything possible. Highly recommended if you want something comfortable, clean and private and not pay thru the roof!
