I was happy with my stay at Hanoi Rendezvous. The airport pick up, although overpriced in comparison to the standard fair from the airport, was hassle free and worth the couple of extra dollars. The dorm room was spacious, with good beds. The shared bathroom isn't the best, but served its purpose. Worth noting that not all the beds have lockers. The hostel is in a very good location for exploring the city, and most sites are walkable, the staff were helpful, though the tours are overpriced. Victoria, from Wales ~ 15th Mar 2012

I think they have the best rooms and beds that i ever had in a Hostel. I've been in the 6th floor, and it is only by stairs, so it's not really nice. The staff is really nice and very helpful about tours or questions that maybe one of us can do. I really recommend the hostel, because, finally you just go up and downstairs only a couple of times per day, but the beds are reaaally comfortable. SERGIO, from Argentina ~ 21st Feb 2012

A great hotel in a great location. The rooms were well sized and comfortable. The staff were amazing for our 4 days. Constantly happy and on the ball with any questions. Tours arranged for Ha Long Bay was amazing also! A+ Wade, from Australia ~ 5th Jan 2012

The rooms are amazing, queen sized bed, hotel quality showers. Only downside is the climb if you stay on level 6. Location is perfect unless you just intend to party away your trip. It is close enough to the lake, but also walkable to the Ba Dingh area where all the sights are. The trips booked from the hostel are not the cheapest, definitely compare with the travel agencies's own offices if you are going to feel ripped off when you start comparing prices with others. A big thank you! Well organised, clean & freindly. We had a room on the 3rd floor, very large with window.. very airy.. plenty of natural light. Rooms at the back are quieter than those on the street. SOme great cheap street food choices close by too. Taylor, from Australia ~ 13th Sep 2011

We really enjoyed our time at this hostel. It's more like a hotel, as the facilities and services seem beyond that of just a hostel. We received more personal service here than at more expensive international hotels we have stayed in. Oh, and great tours too! Grace, from Australia ~ 23rd Jun 2011
