this hostel is definitely the dirtiest and unsafest hostel that i've ever stayed at. the lockers in the rooms dont even lock so i recommend not putting any valuables in there!! and the shower was terrible, hardly even working. the location was ok but i definitely recommend considering staying somewhere else if possible!!

Good place and moderatly priced. I found the showers were very strangely made... water overflows in the little room with toilet and shower, water spraying directly onto toilet if shower curtain is not well placed. Also the staff at the reception was friendly but VERY slow. Food was good and priced well. Clean!

Before booking this hostel, I read reviews that the staff was rude... but the price seemed good, and I booked it anyway. When I arrived, I went to check in and had to deal with the rudest most obnoxious people behind the desk that I've ever experienced at a hostel. "Kids with attitudes" is how I'd decribe them. After checking in, we went to our room and discovered the nasty beds with stains all over. The only saving grace for this place is that it's cheap and in a good location. If you have money, I'd recommend spending a bit more for a cleaner & more friendly environment.

abbiamo preso la stanza da 6. era pulita con bagno,doccia e armadietti con chiave.ci hanno dato lenzuola, asciugami e cuscini °(li cambiavano regolarmente ogni 2 gg. La colazione lascia un pò a desiderare(per i miei gusti italiani ovviamente), sotto c'è la discoteca dove si può bere tranquillamente e ballare. sommariamente è un buon ostello dove si spende poco ed è bene collegato. consigliato !

good enough place, we stayed there 2 nights, and i must say, good value for money. It is a 20 minute wqlk every morining in to the center, there is a pub and a coffee shop on the same street.

hostel is the best u can find in fucking great amsterdam. its near pubs and clubs and a lot of nice shops, but although in a quite street. the stuff is nice but seems sometimes a bit overstrained. the beds are perfect and everything was clean. only thing that sucks a bit are the doors. very loud when u close them and u can hear your neighbours doors as well...but we'll come back to u hans brinker my love.
