Skip the Happy Inn Lodge and stay somewhere else! This place was in a decent location (close to the West station), but the hostel itself wasn't great. Its a part side business for a bar downstairs, and it never quiets down. If the bar and people downstairs finally shut up, then the creaky nasty floors will wake you up. The showers are disgusting, HUGE patches of black mold and you can barely turn around they are so small. For you buck in an expensive city its much better to stay at a place that is focused on running a hostel and not a bar.

i loved the whole atmosphere of this hostel, but if you are one of the type who doesn´t want to get disturbed while sleeping at night, this place is not recommended because there is a bar and at night it´s pretty loud.

Excellent hostel, a bit noisy as it is also a bar but with earplugs that was no problem. Friendly and helpfull staff with knowledge of the city and ok bathrooms, lockers both in rooms and in luggage storage. The only bad thing about the place was that there was no airconditioning in the room we stayed in. Way to hot even with windows wide open.
Awesome hostel. The staff are amazing and te location is great! Breakfast could be better and the showers were few and small, but the free wifi and location as well as the bar down stairs make it a great stay. The staff are young and very friendly and make you feel right at home. would definitly come back.

Came in late and then left the next day. Did not experience the hostel very much at all. Just a place to sleep for me. And it did great with that.

Great location. As others have commented, despite being above a bar the rooms are quiet. Make sure you eat there too! We recommend the ribs :-)
