the best hostel i have ever stayed!! Haliuna and her husband were unbelievably helpfull, noone can help u like this in Mongolia, very good prices in everything . . . I will definitelly go there again and i would recomend it to everyone!!

Haliuna and her husband were excellent hosts and were extremely helpful, collecting us from the train station and organising a fantastic two-day trip to the national park. Happy Travel definitely offered a more personal touch than most hostels we've stayed at.
We stayed with Haliuma and her husband for 3 days and they treated us exceptionally well. They were very welcoming and friendly - picked us up from, and dropped us off to, the train station. They also organised a great personalised trip to the National Park in Terelj. Very highly recommended.

Clean toilet, however hot water wasn\'t available til the next morning. We stayed at UB Guesthouse too, and i would recommend the latter as you get the same or better quality for half the price!! Host - v helpful, picked us up from train station, drove us around the city to sort out our flight tickets / exchange money etc. However they were trying to charge us 500USD for a ger camp trip, when we could (and did) get the same for 170USD (for 2 persons) from UB Guesthouse (!!!)

A great stay with a great family. Haliuna and her husband could not have been more helpful and it was a pleasure to stay with them. The hostel is clean and close to the station. They organized and took us on a great trip. This place is a MUST for anyone stopping in Mongolia!!! 10 out of 10 - many thanks!

If you stay at Happy Travel Hostel, you will get looked after. I can\'t rate the staff highly enough. For example, Haliuna and her husband drove us to the Lotus House orphanage (in one of Ulaanbataar\'s Ger districts) compliments of the guest house. There is no way we would have found this ourselves due to there being no actual street addresses in this part of Ulaanbataar. All amenities are kept spotlessly clean and we thorougly enjoyed our tour to the country. Thanks again Haliuna for a great vactaion!
I wish I had a higher rating to rate the staff. The manager was absouutely great!
