Happybed Hostel is worth the money. It's nothing spectacular, but has everything you'll need to enjoy your stay in Berlin and get a good rest. About a 15 minute walk/metro to get somewhere useful.

I loved the hostel, it's a little far, but the metro is pretty close, what makes everything easy. The breakfast is amazing!!! I just think they should have wifi. Staff are really helpfull and nice!!! Thanks for the wonderful time guys!!! I would definetely stay here again!
The hotel i exremely loud, meaning, that you can hear too much noice from both the street, the other rooms and the hall.

Having been to Berlin many times I have found that Steglitz is one of the nicest and pleasant areas of the city to stay in. The hostel is really large and the room very very clean. Also there is a nice community feeling. I definitely recommend it. I also stayed here when I took a day off from my work because it is much better value than a cheap hotel/bed&breakfast. great breakfast too. you won't be disappointed
This hostel is an old dorm so you feel like you are at sports camp or something, but the place was super clean and it had a huge breakfast in the morning.

You need to take the metro to get pretty much anywhere, but it's not a long ride and the accomodations are just excellent, at least for the twin private we had. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The staff was very helpful and pleasant, the breakfast was great, and all the facilities were much cleaner than any of the other hostels we stayed in. The location was pretty good, there are markets, restaurants-bars, and shops very close by and using the public transit to get into the heart of Berlin isn't difficult. There weren't security lockers or anywhere we could lock up our backpacks in the private room we had, but I felt that our belongings were secure regardless. If you do choose to stay here though, bring earplugs because the walls are thin and noise resonates easily in this building.

Very noisy! Recommended only for large groups of teenagers...
