There was very little parking space on the street outside. Later we discovered a parking area about 100 m away. If the hostel guests are allowed to use it, or other parking areas nearby, it should be informed about it on the web site and at the door, because the staff is not present and available 24 h.

If you need a cheap bed close to Stanstead airport this may be the one. The site does not mention it, but there is a bus Arriva 510 to get you there and it costs around £9 both ways from and to the airport. Otherwise... It could be a nice hostel, only major improvements need to be made.

It was perfect for us because we were flying from Stansted airport, but otherwise its just bog standard hostel accomm in a run down town.

Description stated free internet access in reception. Rather old computer with Windows 98 which booted up but did not work, this should be corrected asap.

A great last minute booking. Great for links to london and stansted airport. Harlow is toss as is the pub across the roasd. Could do with a TV in the main social room as was boring staying in the room. All adequate. Would use again. Asked for twin room and got double, but apart from that, pretty clean and decent bed. More of a stop off on the way than a funfilled place. Quite a distance from decent pubs etc so if you enjoy peace and parks then this place is for you. Not a bad word to say about it as it was a means to an end for us.
