- “ Had a great time at Hatters and will definitely be coming back at some point. There is free breakfast in the morning, free tea, coffee and toast throughout the day and free wifi downstairs. Staff was also extremely helpful, our stay could hardly be any better. ”

- “ A great hostel to stay in Birmingham! I''ll definitely return there on my next stay in Birmingham: Everything you need and the friendly staff will help with just about anything. In Birmingham check out the lovely Canalside Café near Gas Street Bridge for home-made soups. ”

- “ Nice staff, very helpful. Had a bit of a hard time finding the place in spite of the great directions, having to cross a road and walk a while more to be there, but that's all. I'll definitely stay there again. ”

- “ A great hostel with excellent staff. Friendly atmosphere, a short walk from the city centre and very affordable. Bit of a queue for the shower in the morning (especially in the 12 bed room) and I didn't see any lockers, but can't quibble for the price. ”

- “ Nice building, I was concerned though that non-hostel people might be able to get in by pressing the buzzer. Good breakfast and TV/internet facilities. ”

- “ Our room was in a kind of semi-basement floor so there was not enough light. Moreover, the windows couldn't be opened and it was ssssooooooo humid (you know the english weather) that my every piece of cloth and paper smelled like a rotten rag after the first night. And the shower drains do not seem to have been cleaned for a looong time, so the water overflows and you end up with a very dirty floor ... Well, the staff was nice anyway! and we liked free toasts and hot drinks available 24h ”

- “ Me and my friends really did like this hostel except for the cleaning. In our weeklong stay our 2 bed private room was cleaned only twice. One of the times it was after we repeatedly asked them to do it, and it was just one of the trashbins that got emptied. the floors were dirty and dusty as well as all surfaces. I was very disappointed at how bad the cleaning was. ”
