It's needed a bigger space to take the breakfast. It would be better in the kitchen, not in the reception room: too much people at the same time for a really small space., there are not enough sites.

The location was amazing. The hostel is run by long-termers who understand travel, which is really great. The hostel offers lots of events and fun things for short term stays or even longer stays. Not the most clean, but I didn't feel like it impacted me negatively at all. Great hostel overall. I would stay there again and recommend it to friends.

The location was unbeatable! Staff was really helpful & friendly- they even helped carry bags up to our room. There was a bit of a mix up and we ended up being put in a staff room, but they didn't charge us extra. Bathrooms are cramped and bedrooms are pretty bare boned. Not exactly the cleanest/nicest hostel I've stayed in, but things like WiFi and especially the location make it worth it.

This was a great place and I highly recommend it. It's right off of the Royal Mile and therefore in walking distance of pretty much anything you would want to see in Edinburgh. The staff was really awesome, and I had fun getting to know the other people staying here. And there was a fun, relaxed, cozy atmosphere about the whole place. Basically one of the best hostels I've stayed in!
