incredibly hot in the dorm, made worse by airconditioning the common room below. very friendly hostel. shower was in the sink with a toilet in the cubicle, which seemed a bit strange and awkward.

a really nice hostel, not too try hard, very relaxed atmosphere, the staff were really nice, well located although it is a bit of a trek from the station (about 20 mins). rooms were really stuffy but were a lot better at night. worth booking in advance although the staff were really accommodating if you just turned up. only comment is that it seemed to attract an older crowd (approx. 25+)

The "free barbeque" was 7,5lev. And for some salad 5lev was too expensive anyway. In a restaurant in Plovdiv you can get a big salad for 5lev. Everything else was very good.

Fantastically nice and helpful staff. Also very small, so you can meet people more easily.
hikers is on the hill, very beautiful, great staff, but when you get a bad break you have to sleep in the 'shi**y apartement'. its far away from the hostel / breakfast and it stinks. plovdiv isnt that nice - the antik things are imbedded in concrete. but all in all it was a great stay at hikers.

Private room is very small, but it was cheap and clean. We got a little lost attempting to find the place but some friendly locals showed us the way. really cute little place. great staff
