I had a good and comfortable stay at Hillside. It is 10-15 minutes from the beach though, but I didn't mind, I figured it is good exercise for me. I was pleasantly surprised to find a dvd player in my room and used it once in my 2 nights stay here. The little pool is cute and a good extra. A really nice room, for a low price. Only -, the staff told me many times a taxi to Karonbeach was 200 THB but when I got there it was suddenly 300-, THB.. I was told and 300 often sound the same? this is a extremely new hotel, rooms are quite awesome for what u pay for. TV, fridge, huge bed good enough for 3 persons, cute swimming pool outside. the rooms are huge, AC works great.It is 10/15 mins walk from patong beach and all entertaining areas.
