THought it was one of the better hostels I have stayed at in south america. Great location, clean, good breakfast, reasonably priced, owner is very helpful (if slightly gruff). Beds a bit hard...buit not too much of a worry.

We ended up staying longer than we intended because we liked it so much here, the owner is lovely and really helpful, the rooms are big and clean, cleaned everyday, location is perfect in the heart of the historical town. I can´t recommend this place enough.
This is a great hostel in the centre of things in Paraty. The only thing are the matresses which are pretty bad. Othere than that thers a great common area to watch tv or chill out and the breakfast is excellent. The map on the brochure is not the best so its difficult to find with that one to hand. The english owner is always there aswell and the other staff have good english aswell. Dont miss the BBQ at the travellers tavern, pretty good sausages!

Very nice hostel but felt we were a bit over charged. Really nice place to stay as your in the heart of the historic town.
