I arrived, as announced very late, close to midnight to find out they didn t have my reservation down - they only checked Chinese websites. The cook was on vacation over Chun Jie and the hostel was full with Chinese travelers. So my advice: as an international traveler, don't go over Chun Jie. also, with 60,- Yuan each way it wasn't as close to the airport as I d hoped. But the vicinity was very appealing. Had a private room on third floor and had no hot water most of the time.Then moved to dorm on main level-shared showes were great. Cafe upstairs has good food and cooking class is well worth a try (plenty of food-go hungry1). Great location. Panda tour worth it to get there early to see pandas feeding. The cooking class is excellent, but a liitle bit expensive with 120 RMB. The staff heps with everything e.g. organises trips to leshan giant buddha or the Panda research base quit cheap. They have delicious western and chinese food for reasonable prices.(eg: muesli with yoghurt and fruits 14RMB, Dumplings 8RMB or chinese cabbage with chili 10 RMB or Pizzas about 40RMB) Nadine, from Germany ~ 3rd May 2011
