We stayed with Homeikan for two days and the experience was excellent; the staff was very helpful in settling us down and giving directions. We ordered tranditional Japanese breakfast on the day of our departure, both of us enjoyed it very much.

The Staffs were really keen to help me figuring out how to reach Narita Airport. There is no curfew in this Ryokan which make it even better for those who would like to take night photos of Tokyo or enjoy the night life in Tokyo.

A good price/performance ratio at a quiet place in Tokyo. You have to walk 10..15 min from Hongo-sanchome station.

Mosaic-tiled bathing place was too spooky for me. found 2 small bugs in my room. the first night of my stay, there were groups of students who made lots of noise at night and early morning. Other than that, it was always peaceful... too quiet for me.

We stayed 3 nights at Homeikan located in a safe neighbourhood. There were 2 subway stations in 10-15 min walk: not too far away in our opinion. We liked very much to come to the peaceful environment after spending the day in the hassle of busy Tokyo and take a relaxing furo bath in the basement. We would come here again.
