A very good value for money option. Room was small but cozy and warm, the atmosphere was good with helpful staff and always someone around the common area with whom you could have a chat with while checking your e-mail in the available computers. It was a little difficult to find, but once you are there you'll be glad for the convenient location. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were clean but small...what else can you expect in HK though. If you are looking for a place to sleep when you aren't exploring, this is perfect! Stayed here from Christmas night to New years day 2011. Awesome time! Had a private room which had everything you needed: bed, shower, toilet, enough space to get ready/store stuff. Bed is rock hard so be prepared to be drunk and/or exhausted to be able to sleep on it. The management were good - if a little icy. You can smoke and buy beers/waters in the lobby, and it proves a great place to meet fellow expats. Upon check-in, I was told my bed in a suite of 4 had been upgraded for no additional cost to a small single bed and bath 'hotel room.' sure enough, I was guided to a building across the street by a staff member and got my physical room key for a mini room that was clean and safe. I usually stay in hotel for every HK trip. For cost saving reason, this is the 1st time i stayed in hostel.It is very easy to find this hostel. To my surprise, hostel room is very clean with basic facilities which are enough for visitor like me that spend most of the time out of hostel. Owner (sam) is very polite and helpful. Good chance to meet with other young back packer from overseas also. Strongly recommended to those who spend most of time outside and yet for a room at affordable price.
