Stayed there new year and it was very expensive considering the quality of the hostel. But I must say it isnt that as bad as people are complaining. You can stay there easily and if you dont mind the too much about the hustlers on the nathan road it is okay I guess.. Antti, from Finland ~ 7th Jan 2012

The Hong Kong Star Hostel is the worst hole in the wall I ever stayed at, I will not recomend it to my mother in law never mind people I know. Their are Indian hawkers constantly trying to push fake product on visitors and Nigerians trying to push drugs and prostitutes. The room was so small I had to store my lugage under my bed that was too small to sleep on. They don't have WIFI as was advertised (in room and Loby) they don't have a loby.
