“ Strange owners, but a nice place. ”
Thank you for writing a review. We are pleased you found the hostel a nice place but are concerned with your one word description of the owners/staff. A slightly more informative description or comment would have been more helpful in dealing with any issues. We hope you had a safe trip home!

“ Nice place to stay. Staff is very knowledgeable on Costa Rica visiting options. They even provide you with maps and instructions on how to reach it and key spanish word to deal with people.
I fully recommend it ”

“ Close to the bus stop, and the staff was helpful with directions. No hot water in showers. Kind of loud. Good Wi-Fi. Small outdoor kitchen. It's $3 to use their washing machine if you bring your own soap, and you have to hang-dry your clothes. It's a cheap place close to the bus stop. If you're in Liberia, you're most likely either flying in or flying out, so it's alright for a 1-night stay but that's about it. ”
Thank you for writing a review. We are glad you found the hostel functional for your brief visit. We wanted to address some of your observations. Hot water showers are rare in Costa Rica, especially in cities like Liberia where it is over 90F (32C) every day. Liberia is a city and urban environments are in fact more noisy. Ear plugs always recommended when hosteling. Our price for doing laundry is quite cheap. Most hostels charge $10/kilo which is about the size of a plastic bag from the market. Our price is per load in a extra capacity machine. Most guests want to take advantage of this deal after seeing prices elsewhere. Also, there are many things to do in and around Liberia such as hiking Rincon de la Vieja Volcano, swimming at Llano de Cortez waterfall or soaking in thermal water. We were not sure if you observations were meant as criticisms or merely observations but we wanted to clarify them for future guests. Thanks for the opportunity. Happy travels!
