this is essentially a few rooms in the house of a family. they are very nice and there is someone on staff all the time. breakfast, privacy, etc. i, however, felt a bit weird about coming in late at night and possibly waking the kids up. great for a place to crash for the night though!

We booked months in advance to find that our room had been let out. We had a long journey from Puerto Natales and it was evening, we were extremely annoyed that our room had been let out. What was more annoying was the attitiuted of the guy who owned the place, he never smiled and seemed unfriendly and never apologised for his error. We were left in the learch, but I got to give him credit for finding us somewhere else (hostel next door). Just be warned....
The owner also has a travel agency so you get a lot of help with preparing every kind of excursion.
